| 2010 ASPE Convention and Engineered Plumbing Exposition |
|
| The 2010 ASPE Convention and EPE will be held Oct. 28-Nov. 3, 2010, at the Pennsylvania Convention Center. The theme of this year`s event is “Ringing in the Future of ASPE.” Attendees will enjoy up to 30 technical education sessions presented by experts in the field of plumbing engineering, in addition to the largest plumbing product exposition in the country. Rock-bottom room rates at the Marriott and Loews hotels already have been negotiated, so put the ASPE Convention and EPE on your calendar today! More information will be available soon, and registration will open in May. |
| New Location |

| This may seem repetitive, but we don`t want you to forget about the change in venue. Our March, April, and May meetings will be held at the Rosevine Hall in Roseville. This may or may not be a permanent change as we are evaluating the possibilities and your input will be extremely valuable. |

| Elections |
|
| Its that time of the year again. Actually this happens every two years in the ASPE world where new officers and board members are elected. You are likely to see some familiar faces along with some new ones. At this time the nominating committee (Renea Torborg, Dan Sieben, and Ron Hanson) is looking for individuals to serve for the next two years. Their nominations will be presented at the March membership meeting and the floor will be opened for additional nominations. The election will take place at the April meeting and the new board will be sworn in at the May meeting. |

| Grass Roots Budget Meeting |
|
| The Grass Roots Budget Meeting is scheduled for Saturday, March 13, 2010. The meeting will be held from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM Central Time. |
|
| This meeting is an opportunity for all members of ASPE to get an inside look at the financial condition of your society. The meeting is broadcast from the Society headquarters in Chicago and is delivered by the Society President and Treasurer. |
|
| You can attend from the comfort of you own home! This year, there will be a new format for the meeting. It will be run similar to our webinars in that the video and sound will be broadcast over the internet through your computer. Questions from remote locations will be typed and sent through the computer. |
